Associate Veterinarian

Immediate opening for a full-time veterinarian in a two doctor, small animal practice.

Firehouse Animal Health Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our rapidly growing practice in Leander, Texas. Firehouse is a local group of progressive veterinary hospitals in the Austin – San Antonio corridor. We set the highest standards for client service, communication and medicine. We have paperless record system, wdigital radiography (Antech-Sound DR) and dental digital radiography in all of our health centers. Our Leander location also has in-house ultrasound.

Excellent medical and surgical skills are a basic requirement at Firehouse. Our doctors separate themselves from their colleagues in three areas:

Client service: Our relationships with each client do not end with a single appointment. You are a vital part of a team that places the highest importance on the client’s experience. A willingness to take your communication skills to the next level is a must.

Patient advocacy: Our doctors are true patient advocates, making recommendations for care based on the individual needs of each patient. Firehouse provides our doctors with a solid foundation that allows the art of veterinary practice to thrive.

Valuing the team: Our doctors make medical decisions for patients, and our highly effective staff helps to implement the care. We utilize our CVT and client service staff to their full potential. The doctor leads a team that provides solid medical care for each patient and outstanding service to each client.

Qualifications necessary: DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent); current licensure in good standing in the state of Texas; personal and professional recommendations; well-developed computer skills; minimum two years of medical experience.
